Toyota FT-86G
(Image sourced from Toyota)
In recent times there has been a lack of affordable performance RWD cars. However, Toyota has come to rescue with their proposed FT-86G coupe, a real driver's car. It contains DNA from the supra, mr2 and also a slight hint of AE86 Trueno.
Specs:
It has a turbocharged version of the 2.0-liter boxer-4 engine and a six-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels. But, this is may not be the production specifications.
When is it due for production in Australia?
Some time in 2012.
Competition?
The Hyundai Genesis, which will hopefully reach our shores by 2012.
